On Saturday, 22.03.2025, Hills Connect Oy participated in the 2nd Business Summit and Prestigious
Global Award Ceremony, in Helsinki, Finland, organized by Ceci Educare Oy.
The gorgeous event presented an opportunity for Hills Connect to share its experience, contribute
to boosting the morale, and learn from the vast experience of all the speakers and
participants.

It was an honour for Chairman Seth Ndayishimye to have an opportunity to share Hills Connect
experience under the theme:
“How can global citizens make business in their host countries and then expand back home
or be business bridges for their home countries & host countries?”,
detailing how to approach identifying the needs, the solution providers and the financiers and how
to link them, concluding with an emphasis on the uniqueness in all of us, which we should use to
create opportunities to close many existing and hidden gaps between our two continents.
In one of the ensuring workshops, people had an opportunity to discuss deeper the above topic
and what could be their take from a personal perspective.

Project Director Jukka Lehtinen who was a Special Guest, got an opportunity to present a
business case in our Fishery and Aquaculture project in Rwanda executed under a Joint Venture
with Catholic University of Rwanda, linking the Finnish fishery know-how with the need of more
affordable protein in Rwanda and other green projects we have in our portfolio.
In the capacity of the Special Guest, he was also honoured to hand the awards to the awardees
with medals and special gifts.

As a cherry on the top of the cake, on the behalf of Hills Connect, Chairman received an award, a
medal, and a special gift in the category “Excellent performance and remarkable achievements,
symbolizing the recipient as a “gem” in their field. The Award reflects brilliance and rarity in
contributions or accomplishments.”
Hills Connect rejoices in this international recognition and dedicates this prize to all of you who
have supported us in our 4-year journey.

Our mind and perspectives were widened by all speakers, guests, participants and volunteers we
got the chance to interact with, especially Birgit Nevala of Finnpartnership, Kamilla Sultanova,
Moderator of the event, Basamba Drammeh. Our takeaway was that cooperation gives synergies; silo competitions give force disruption. We should join our hands, as this journey demands collaborative efforts. Thanks Ceci Educare Oy and its organising committee under the leadership of CEO Cecilia
Naadensua Quarshie for this amazing opportunity. Looking forward to the next edition!
